Darkly and amusingly written, Poor Me is about a self-destructive 26-year-old man named Matthew who finds himself wandering between loneliness and companionship. Being a lonesome drinker, he has the tendency to cause trouble wherever he goes. His life isn't nearly as exciting as his expectations wanted it to be so he does unforgivable attempts to pursuit happiness while destroying other's.
