Eind 1917 draagt het Teylers in Haarlem een groot aantal tekeningen en aquarellen van de Engelse Blanche Annie Douglas-Hamilton (1852-1927) over aan het Noord-Veluws Museum in Nunspeet. Hamilton woonde en werkte immers lange tijd in het nabije Elspeet.
