Ofoto Ray is het pseudoniem voor Ray van Schaffelaar. Sinds 1986 een gepassioneerd fotograaf.

Ray richt zich vooral op spontane straatfotografie. Hij woont in Diemen met zijn vrouw en 2 zonen.

Ray is ooit begonnen als professioneel pianist lichte muziek. Reeds in 1986 fotografeerde hij al

veel in Amsterdam.

Ray werkte 22 jaar bij computercollectief aan de Amstel in Amsterdam. Na het faillissement heeft hij

zich gestort op professioneel bezig zijn met fotografie, video en grafisch ontwerp.

Het werk van Peter Martens neemt binnen de Nederlandse fotografie een unieke plaats in. In 1969 werd hij als eerste fotograaf in Nederland toegelaten tot de Beeldende Kunst Regeling (BKR). Dit was niet alleen een erkenning voor zijn eigen werk maar ook voor het medium fotografie als beeldende kunst. Als een van de weinige Nederlandse fotografen was Martens enkele jaren nominée van Magnum en in 1977 en 1979 won hij verschillende prijzen bij World Press Photo.

Dordrecht is rijk aan natuurschoon zoals flora en fauna,

en vooral in de lente het fotograferen waard.

Ik heb de moeite genomen om één en ander op de gevoelige

plaat vast te leggen.De foto's heb ik met een volautomatische

camera genomen.Het fotograferen van de natuur is één van

mijn hobby's net zoals het schilderen en dichten.

Het lammetje ontbreekt niet aan het lentegevoel,

ook struiken als de forsythia en andere bloesems en dieren

zoals eenden, meerkoet en waterhoentje ontbreken er niet...
