Cornelis Labots (17 oktober 1920 - 17 juli 1990) ontwikkelde zich tot kunstschilder, tekenaar en graficus. Hij volgde verschillende opleidingen o.a. bij de Stedelijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten en de Vespertekenschool in Merksem, België. Zijn leermeesters waren de Vlaamse graficus en glasschilder Antoon Vermeylen en de graficus Frank-Ivo van Damme.
