Marjan's werk bestaat uit meest surrealistische en sprookjesachtige etsen en later vooral krachtige lino's met veel kleurgebruik. Een grote diversiteit aan technieken en uitstraling, steeds nieuwgierig wat een methode te bieden heeft. In veel werk staan de gevoelens van de individuele mens centraal.
