Ellie

Based on a true story.

Ellie, A fourteen year old girl. She has a nose ring and her ears full of earrings. She has a punky hairdo and her dark blonde hair has purple dye on it. She's getting ready. She lives in an orphanage. Her peers bully her because she is different. The adults in the village look at her suspiciously and do not trust her. Everything that happens that cannot be explained is pointed to Ellie. She is sad about it and isolates herself. She only goes to the elderly people to help them with their shopping and does this faithfully every Saturday. She also takes care of the small children who feel alone. She protects them from the danger of the street. The younger children love her and ask why she has purple in her hair,

Gail and Nes do some shopping for the old people together with a few others. The two girls notice that they are being watched even more than before. It annoys them. Once they have done the shopping, they put the cargo bikes back and go to the playground where they sit on the swings with sad faces.
