Introducing the book

We meet the main character John Lerche, who is an officer in the Danish Air Force. John is drawn into a series of events triggered by

his father's death.

Without knowing it, he is the sole heir to an old editor, that puts him on the trail of a well-kept secret.

The Intelligence Service suddenly takes an interest in him, and many things are not at all as they seem. On top of all this, the Air Force's top management has become angry with the Squadron Leader John Lerche. The only person John can trust is his former colleague Henriette, and together they engage in the search for the truth.
