'Because I wanted to understand - Trinity - I studied in the Old and New Testament the Manifestations of God: the - Three Men - by Abraham; the - Divine Countenance - Moses saw on the mountain; the - Breeze - by Elias; Jesus who, flanked by Moses and Elias, showed himself to James, Peter and John in his - Divinity; the - Gardener - to Maria Magdalene; the - Stranger - at Emmaus. I meditated for years on the - Trinity -, but had to wait until my 43rd year to 'understand'. 'Transfiguration' is the attempt to display the greatness of God in His Manifestations."Omdat ik de Drie-eenheid wilde begrijpen, heb ik in het Oude Testament en hetNieuwe Testament de verschijnings-vormen van God bestudeerd:- de 'Drie mannen' bij Abram;- het goddelijk Aangezicht dat Mozes op de berg mocht zien;- het 'briesje' bij Elias;- Jezus, die zich, geflankeerd door Elias en Mozes, aan Jacobus, Petrus en Johannes in zijn Goddelijkheid toonde;- de 'Tuinman' aan Maria Magdalena;- de 'Vreemdeling' aan de Emmaüsgangers; en andere passages.Ik mediteerde jarenlang op de Drie-eenheid, maar moest tot mijn 43e levensjaarwachten, om te verstaan. 'Transfiguratie' is de poging om de Grootheid van God in Zijnverschijningsvormen weer te geven."
