After a number of relatively calm winters, the 2011/2012 season was particularly

wild and stormy. Maritime aerial photographer Herman IJsseling of Flying Focus

was once again at last able to take off in his Cessna Skymaster to photograph ships in the roughest of weather conditions. The flights provided sufficient

spectacular pictures to compile a new photographic record.
