Lin komt met een groot schip uit het verre China. Hij gaat op bezoek bij zijn vriend Titus, die met zijn vrolijke muizenfamilie op de zolder van een meesterpottenbotter woont. Trots laten de muizen zien wat hun meester maakt: het mooiste Delfts Blauw! Zelfs de prinses van Oranje heeft een vaas besteld. Maar dan gebeurt er iets verschrikkelijks... Gelukkig weet Lin raad!
