In 2016 was het 500 jaar geleden dat Dirk Martens, drukker in Aalst, de Utopia van Thomas More op zijn drukpers in Leuven legde. Dat werd in Aalst onder meer herdacht met de Podcast (E)Utopia en de uitgave van dit boek. Het bevat zeer diverse (e)utopische schrifturen - verhalen, gedichten, een essay en ook al eens een stukje drama - gepleegd door de cursisten literaire creatie van Patrick Bernauw aan de Academie voor Podiumkunsten.
