First workbook of the Tobira Beginning Japanese I method, covering the following language skills: Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, Reading and Writing. This book includes: The same units as the main textbook, with kanji, reading and writing practice exercises. A lesson 0 with hiragana and katakana practice. The student will find a general presentation in English explaining how to use the book. The instructions for each of the exercises are also in English. There is a second workbook dedicated to the other skills (Vocabulary, Grammar and Listening) which complements this workbook and completes the series. Answer Sheets can be downloaded from the publisher's website, but the book does NOT include the solutions to the exercises. In case of self-study use of the book, the option of purchasing a PDF with the Answer Keys is offered.
