The days gone by

Marley promises her uncle on his deathbed that she will restore his old hotel. For her it’s the chance for an exciting new start, a chance to prove herself to her, less than supportive, family.

The renovation progresses quickly, but she soon notices that the residents of the small village where the hotel is located are acting a little strange. There are rumors about the hotel. About her uncle. A chance discovery during the renovations unlocks a chain of events. From that moment on, Marley has two goals: she has to make sure the hotel opens on time but she also has to get to the bottom of the hotel's secrets.

The Days Gone By tells a story of secrets, betrayal and sadness, but also of starting over. A story that touches on not just the heartbreak of World War Two, but of quiet bravery and hope.
