About Studie Bijdehand

Studie Bijdehand was founded by Bob de Jong and Jelle Bode in 2009. While studying Entrepreneurship and Retail Management at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, they started offering printed study guides for various courses.

However, collecting booklists for these guides proved to be a rather time-consuming activity. That is why Bob and Jelle decided to develop a new tool to simplify this process. With this tool, as well as their personal approach to course instructors, they managed to take care of the entire process required for the making of booklists.

Studie Bijdehand later evolved into what it has now become. Firstly, a service that allows instructors to compile custom-made study books based on the materials of various educational publishers; without a minimum order quantity, and often print-ready within one working week.
Secondly, as a webshop, Studie Bijdehand offers all the necessary study books and other study essentials required for courses in Dutch higher education.

Our booklist service and custom-book-service have helped us build close cooperative relationships with various faculties at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

In order to expand our capacity, Studie Bijdehand moved into a new building in 2018. This new location offers more warehouse storage to distribute study supplies to not only Rotterdam UAS, but to institutions throughout the Netherlands and beyond.
